It’s UPCAT weekend! Yes, it’s that time of the year when thousands of high school seniors flock to Diliman and other testing centers across the country to take the often-revered and much-feared entrance exams of the University of the Philippines.

For sure, there are a lot of teenagers on anxiety mode right now. That’s because passing the UPCAT will open many doors for them, increasing their chances for a better future.

During our UPCAT Refresher Course the other week, I told our UPCAT review students to relax and not to worry anymore. After weeks of reviewing their lessons, answering simulated exams, and getting how-to instructions from our tutors and lecturers, they are very well prepared for the UPCAT.

To tell you the truth, I always get excited when UPCAT weekend comes around. AHEAD Tutorial & Review Center is still the only review center that publishes its list of UPCAT passers every year. And there’s nothing quite as fulfilling to me as seeing our students take the UPCAT, pass it, and go on to study in the college that they’ve dreamed of.

UPCAT is not only a test for our review students, it is also a test of the quality of our review program. That’s why we are always on our toes, trying to make our review program better and better every year by updating our reference materials, getting the best tutors, and giving our students and their parents the best service that we possibly can.

Good luck to everybody taking the UPCAT this weekend!
